    6.5 creedmoor with RL17 loads?

    Bear I load 43.5 RL 17 in a 260 rem, 28" barrel, 130 gr berger, 3050 FPS and 1/2" groups. I love it, have not tried in hot weather, RL 17 some say temp. sensitive. I would think the creedmoor and 260 are very comparable. Jim

    Steve, That's what I'm thinking over annealed. How do I rectify. I have 150 300 saum from Norma and running them thru just the 6.5 works excellent. I use Anderol Synthetic Lubricant for sizing. Thanks for info. Jim

    Men, I need some help. I am trying to neck some rem 300 saum brass to 6.5 saum. I have a set of redding custom 6.5 saum dies and a set of redding 7mm saum dies. I thought I could just run the brass through the 7mm dies and then neck to 6.5. No can do the 300 brass collapses at the neck...

    Advice for a new long range hunting rifle build

    punter Nosler has a 150 gr long range accubond bullit coming out with a G1 BC of .625 that should put the old 270 close to the 7mm mag. Which will be better down range than the 308.

    I have the vortex and looking for another scope for a 6mm rem hunting rifle, how does the swfa compare. I like the vortex on a 260 rem I have. Anybody have experience with the swfa. I have the swfa 5-20x50 hd and really like the ffp. Thanks, Jim

    It's a MGM barrel. I have 5 other barrels from MGM all shoot MOA or better. After 2 firings my case length is 2.258 new brass is 2.225. By the fourth I start getting some case separation. I guess I need to call MGM. Notice after 2 firings I am still 0.009 from end of chamber. I cant see trimming...

    I had the same problem with a 4.5x14x50, I sent it to the zeiss repair shop received it back like 4 months later with a note. They sent it in for warranty and replaced the erector system. This was a brand new scope first time shooting on a 260 rem. Jim

    Would a difference of 0.035 between chamber length and case length cause blown primers with chamber length being longer.
