    Re: Rem 700 Stock questions Thanks for the replies. I have a 50mm but a flat base. 200 yards is about all i ever get to shoot. I wouldn't be opposed to going to a 20 base if needed. Which of the manners has the mini chassis? Anyone want to comment on pillar bedded stock from Manners?

    Re: What to upgrade first I have a rifle basix trigger for it. Its funny how much better the 308 shoots with hogue. They both have cheap scopes on them. The 308 has a WOTAC and the 223 has a Konus Pro.

    I have 2 SPS Tacticals. One in 308 and one 223. The 308 shoots real good in the hogue stock and the factory trigger set right at 2 lbs. The 308 shoots. 5 to. 6 groups with Fgmm and hornady both in 168 gr. The 223 stays around. 75" and UP no matter what ammo i shoot. I changed the stock to a BC...

    Re: Hogue stock with full aluminum bed block If you like the feel of the stock then just use it. My SPS 308 shoots. 50-.60 groups consistently with the hogue stock on it.
