    Picatinny for Manners cz455 stock

Ok you probably already know or have your own part you use for this. But incase you don't or it hasn't been mentioned for a while. I wanted a picatinny rail so I could use an Atlas bipod with the quick release between a few rifles. Bought this Look at this on eBay...

    Gunsmithing Torque Driver

Alright. Thanks very much. Didn't want to have to buy one, then realise it was no good for what I needed and have to buy a second.

    Gunsmithing Torque Driver

I have a 3/8 and 1/2 inch torque wrench. Just need something devoted to torquing my rifles. That snap on one looks good but the Wiha is a bit cheaper over here. I love snap on gear but the significant other would kill me haha.

Like would I need less than 18 inch pounds? Or more than 44inch pounds?

Sorry I didn't write that post well. I just need a hand on which range I would be better off buying.

    Gunsmithing Torque Driver

Hi, wondering if someone can help, I have a cz 455 with manners stock in .22lr and a Remington 700 long action. I'm looking at a Wiha but I don't know if I need the 1.0nm to 5.0nm (8.85 inch pounds to 44.25 inch pounds) or the 2.0nm to 8.0nm (17.7 inch pounds to 70.81 inch pounds) model. I've...

    CZ 455 Pillars

Thanks heaps for that. Just looking for size of the bits I need to buy. Do you know roughly how big the original holes in the stock are before drilling them out?

    CZ 455 Pillars

Or even if someone could tell me what the diameter of the rear hole is so I can get the correct sizing for my pillar before stripping my rifle. Thanks.

    CZ 455 Pillars

Hi, I was just wondering if you had a rough length for the rear pillar? I was looking at using a grub screw with a hex bit to thread into the rear, after facing off and adjusting to length in a lathe of course. But was wanting a rough length to start off at. I won't be doing a full bedding job...

    Gunsmithing CZ 455 Barrel

Yeah I've come to the conclusion that he may have just been overreacting. I have found a couple of people dealing in Lilja here so am just waiting for a couple of emails.

    Gunsmithing CZ 455 Barrel

Looked into Lilja Barrels. Can't find anyone in Australia bringing them in and to have one barrel imported is looking extremely expensive. Cost of barrel, plus $350 export license, plus 5% duties, 10% GST and any other fees my government will figure a way of charging me. Thanks again for all the...

    Gunsmithing CZ 455 Barrel

I'm going to get in contact with Lilja and ask, thanks. I've seen a few YouTube videos. But when I spoke to the gunsmith he assured me they don't just swap over and he would need the whole rifle. I was fairly certain he was wrong but when a professional tells me I'm wrong I started to doubt...

    Gunsmithing CZ 455 Barrel

Thanks for the info. I'm assuming my gun smith will know what he's doing and will centre the barrel to the bore and not the outside of the barrel when machining the thread. I wanted to get a better barrel but to import anything into Australia is hard to impossible unless there is enough money in...

    Gunsmithing CZ 455 Barrel

Hi, I've been looking to get a thread machined on my CZ 455 Varmint. I don't want to take my rifle out of action while I did though. So my idea was to get another barrel and have the thread machined and just swap the barrels over. Talking to a gunsmith about doing the work and he's talking about...
