    I'm a pretty firm believer that if we ever really get to a SHTF situation, where everything is shut down and the government is removed, cash will be completely worthless. We'll get back to trading for gold, silver, hogs, basic necessities. Back to the wild west.

    I need to get the dremel out and polish the receiver up. The barrel is definitely the heaviest part of this little rifle. Would like to get it reduced eventually. I know it's 4140 steel, but have you had any corrosion issues after the machine work and polishing?

    Some FOBs have contractors.. a lot have Army cooks. I know a lot of the Navy individual augmenters were helping with food service. K-rations haven't been used since WWII. MREs are still issued regularly today. They're pretty popular with the "prepper" crowd.
