Rifle Scopes SWFA SS Classic Line in Mil/Mil

Re: SWFA SS Classic Line in Mil/Mil I've been enjoying my MOA 10x immensely, I just wish these were out a few weeks ago when I bought it. Maybe I'll have to consider trading up this summer. If they're as good as the rest of the SS line, I'm sure they'll be a hit.

Whats the deal .223 with 1 in 9 twist

Re: Whats the deal .223 with 1 in 9 twist Mine seems to like 52gr smk's over H335, either 25.5gr or 26.7gr, both shoot well. Best group of .37 moa, average size being .5-.8 moa. I've got some 69smk's to try. Early load development has the 69's shooting ~.75-1" through the entire range of...

Rifle Scopes SWFA - Thank You!

Re: SWFA - Thank You! I just bought some seekins rings, along with a base and scope. Apparently they're back ordered, the website didn't say anything about them not being in stock. I'm going to give them a call in hopes that they have the 4/6 bolt ones(ordered the 4 bolt low 30mm) in stock...

    Backyard Sub Sonic Shooting?

Re: Backyard Sub Sonic Shooting? Most any .22lr will blow through a wooden fence pretty easily. It's probably a pretty bad idea.

    "NEW" .22 mag ammo...

Re: "NEW" .22 mag ammo... I have to ask, what would the point of a subsonic 40gr .22 mag be? Isn't that the domain of the .22lr?

    Am I the only one........

Re: Am I the only one........ How about a piece of round plastic, roughly the same diameter as the BCG, that catches on the charging handle. Make it long enough that it butts up against something in the front of the upper and goes just far enough back to stop the hammer when you trip it...

My Del-Ton is on the way...

Re: My Del-Ton is on the way... I'm doing an LS1(LM7 actually)/t56 FC RX7 at the moment. I'm going to have to rebuild the tranny for one of my other cars soon, a turbocharged '77 datsun 280z.

My Del-Ton is on the way...

Re: My Del-Ton is on the way... It was my first lower, if you can do an engine or manual tranny rebuild, you'll think this is easy. Aside from that one roll pin, it probably took me half an hour. I used the guide at arfcom to do mine.

    Bullet speed

Re: Bullet speed As long as the force of the gasses on the bullet are greater than the drag of the barrel on the bullet, the bullet will accelerate. Once the powder burns, even after it's all gone, there is still a significant amount of pressure behind the bullet. Only when the drag is...

My Del-Ton is on the way...

Re: My Del-Ton is on the way... The trigger and hammer pins are held in with spring detents, a piece of spring wire essentially presses against a notch in the pin and holds it in place. The bolt stop pin was the easiest pin for me, the trigger guard pin was a whore, it may have been...

    CMMG M4LE22-A

Re: CMMG M4LE22-A I just got a stainless cmmg conversion yesterday, I had one fail to fire out of 50, but it may have been to ammo. It ran great otherwise right out of the box. Midway had if for $180.

Re: Which 22lr black rifle I've been eyeing the cmmg ar-15's that come with a dedicated .22lr upper.

    Blow up this gun poll

Re: Blow up this gun poll Here is another poll, we're currently losing 23-77. Copy and paste it so they don't see tons of redirects from gun sites. Not sure if that really matters though. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Code:</div><div class="ubbcode-body ubbcode-pre"...

My Rifle - Whats wrong with my groups? (Pics)

Re: My Rifle - UPDATED 12-11-10 (Pics) Just because the scope is new, doesn't mean it's not a lemon. I've had brand new shit fail on me before, it's annoying as hell to figure out. See if you can nab the scope off your dad's rifle for an afternoon to check.

Stacking tolerances and MOA - what happens?

Re: Stacking tolerances and MOA - what happens? Error calculations get ugly in a hurry, I can't imagine it taking any less than a month of solid work to accurately measure and model the error from each little piece and part and how it effects the whole. It's entirely possible to do, it would...

Just how evil is this site?

Re: Just how evil is this site? I think tor is still around, might want to give that a try. http://www.torproject.org/ But yes, you all do bring a whole new meaning to the word evil.
