    RL RL26 is very hard for me to find right now. In the end I went with the reloder 16. Gave me the lowest es/sd in most temps. More important for me being in Canada with such huge temp changes through the year.

    I would try I would try the same work up. I don't think the twist will will affect your pressure while working up charge weights. It may affect you downrange performance though.

    I use a old electric razor to vibrate the case. It condenses enough to seat the bullet without being compressed.

    What are you hunting? I agree with everyones posts above. A 8lb 300 RUM is going to beat you like a red headed step child. If you want a scope for longer ranges that is still lite, you could go with a Nightforce NX8 2.5-20X50 at 28 oz or a Leupold Mark 5HD 3.6-18X44 at 26 oz.
