    Aperture sights for T1X

I'm to slow. Now I do have a small 30's era horizontal mill now that will speed things up a little. LOL

    Aperture sights for T1X

It shoots well. It won't shoot with my 1712, but I don't expect it to, kind of apples to oranges. The Anschutz was over $1500 used, the Tikka was $453 out the door, new. The Annie has a match chamber, not so on the Tikka, the Annie has a beautiful wood stock, the Tikka has black plastic. What...

    Aperture sights for T1X

The bloop tube is kinda crude as I'm not a machinist and it was all made on my South Bend 9" lathe with a small milling vice.

Sorry I didn't get these yesterday. I posted that I had my Palma sight on, it's not, the International MK8 is on it.

    Aperture sights for T1X

Williams makes a rear sight that fits the tikka grooved receiver. I have one and the only problem for me is that the aperture is to far forward. Champions Choice did sell an adapter that would allow the use of a Redfield rear sight. Anschutz also made one, it’s what I have on my T1X along with...

T1x 200 yards Lapua Xact VS CenterX his and hers

Very good shooting. I tried my T1X on a bipod and it was like shooting off a pogo stick, lol. I really like the reticle on your scope but don’t have a need for one lighted.

    SK Flatnose

My 1712 Annie has shot some very good groups with flat nose basic. More testing is needed though. I have a brick of Rifle Match that isnt impressive in any of my rifles.

A shout out to Paul at Kowa USA

Impressive! The one I bought is a Prominar TSN-663 with a 20-60 eye piece, used mostly for 50 yard .22 rimfire. Now I don't feel bad about the $500 I spent, LOL.

A shout out to Paul at Kowa USA

In August of last year I bought a used Kowa spotting scope from a member on another forum. The seller was up front that he had misplaced the ocular and objective cover. After shipping the scope the seller sent me a message that he had found the objective cover. Great, I offered to cover the...

    Custom Winchester 52B???

Just buy a Bergara B14R and save yourself some time, money and heartache. Save the 52's for folks that appreciate their heritage and quality. The above and $1.75 will buy you a cup of coffee in some places.

Great shooting and a beautiful 37! It's good to see more old iron with apertures on the list. I haven't shot in over a month so I may have to get one of my 52D's with apertures out and warm it up and give this another shot.

    Lapua X-Act ammo

Thanks orkan for sharing your experience and knowledge. Being new to accurate .22 rifles I enjoy reading and learning from people with experience. This being the internet there will always be keyboard experts. I like hot rods, guns, old machining equipment and I see the same thing on all the...

    22LR Performance in the Wind

Very good shooting, as usual. How much and where were you holding off? I'm trying to learn reading my flags and finding conditions that I can shoot in. Part of the problem is here in KY the wind is seldom very steady, it seems to take huge swings and where my range is it swirls bad.

    6X5 Thread V5.0 *new 1/1/21*

There was no arguing meant. After I posted and read it I could see it taken that way, that's why I edited it. As the post stated I was "playing the devils advocate", not poking anyone. Personally I like seeing good groups or good targets with single shots in single bulls no matter how they were...
