I would like to get aperture sights for my T1x, but can’t find a solution, especially for the front sight. I would prefer a bolt-on front sight band. Should I just use a red dot sight instead?

If Sako prices don't scare you, maybe Iron-sights for sako quad range (22LR) are available?

edit: Ther is a (similar looking) sporter version of Tikka in centrefire, again suggesting some parts compatibility is possible.

Ok, I’m scared now! I was hoping to find something like Williams or Tech Sights for the T1x...
You can fit one of the NECG peep sights for the CZ527 and earlier equivalent Brno rifles to your Tikka receiver, by the simple expedient of getting your gunsmith to mill out a notch on the left side of the rail. You could also fit an NECG peep sight made for a Weaver base (or any other peep sight made for a Weaver base) on to a Weaver or Picatinny base made for a Tikka.
I just checked the Sportsmatch website. RB4 Adapter will clamp to Tikka dovetail and allow fitment of standard rimfire sights to a Tikka rifle. So ... Williams, Lyman, etc. top mount rimfire sights are all good.

Williams makes a rear sight that fits the tikka grooved receiver. I have one and the only problem for me is that the aperture is to far forward.

Champions Choice did sell an adapter that would allow the use of a Redfield rear sight. Anschutz also made one, it’s what I have on my T1X along with a Redfield Palma rear.

For the front I made a clamp on bloop tube with a Redfield base and international sight.

Can we please see a photo of this setup? A T1X with irons sounds pretty neat.

It shoots well. It won't shoot with my 1712, but I don't expect it to, kind of apples to oranges. The Anschutz was over $1500 used, the Tikka was $453 out the door, new. The Annie has a match chamber, not so on the Tikka, the Annie has a beautiful wood stock, the Tikka has black plastic. What the Tikka does well is it shoots anything you feed it and I'm not afraid to bang it around. I have a Jard trigger in the Tikka and like it better than the Annie trigger.

IMHO, the Tikka is hard to beat for the money.

Thanks everyone for your responses. There doesn’t appear to be a simple, commercial solution yet - for the front sight at least. I have several scoped rifles I’d like to try with iron sights, so the red dot may be the solution. Until Tikka either comes out with a .22 version of the T3 Arctic...
