    Re: SCAR 17 I haven't weighed it, but I'd guess in the 7-8 lb range. Its mostly a bench shooter and I'm old school used to shooting '03s and the M1 so it doesn't "seem" heavy to me.

    New here to this forum. Have picked up the bug for long range shooting. Will start with this SCAR17 but am looking to build an R700/.308 from the ground up.
