I've been looking at rifles suitable for this class... Would a Savage 110 or Stevens 200 .223 with a super sniper 10x scope qualify?

Oh... Polishing locking lugs changes your head space, so make sure you aren't removing material so much as knocking down the high places and tooling marks.

A .38 pistol brush fits the barrel nicely and doesn't take as much effort to push while cleaning out all the dirt.
A 20 gauge shotgun brush fits the chamber where the case sits. It is worth turning that brush until it shines.
I am convinced the sticky...

They are down near havelock. They have a 500 yard range with steel at 100, 200, 300, 400, 500.
I'm not sure if they allow prone or not.

I attended this class as the beginner... Most of the topics I had no hands on experience with. John took his time to explain why and how each idea was applied, and took the time to answer questions until things sunk in.

This sounds like fun. I am not sure what a short action rifle is, does a bolt action fit the bill?
