    Mine is an 1-11" twist Lilja 3 groove. If I had a 300 Norma and wanted more speed I'd punch it out to the 30/338 Lapua IMP, should be able to get at least 3250 and that would be fully stable at sea level and 59*.

    Leica 2400R info needed

    On hillsides in the desert landscape of AZ I've ranged as far as 1900 yards, haven't tried any longer range reflective targets but would hope for better than that.

    Getting Carbon on the neck on my reloads

    All my reloads with Retumbo look like that but I'm shooting a 300 gr bullet. When I use H1000 they look more like the one on the left, for a 250 gr bullet I think H1000 would be a better choice but that's just my opinion.

    I have a 7mm RM with a 1:9" twist and it shoots the 175 ELD-X quite well at 2935 fps, I can get more out of it but groups open up. Shot a coues at 1025yds, one shot DRT.

    I'm in the process of putting the pieces together to build a 300 Norma and was going with a 1-10" twist barrel to be able to shoot both the 215 and 230 Berger's but see many using a 1-9" twist barrel. Is this so the 230's will stabilize better at ELR or ?

    Do not really need more shooters to reserve the range but more shooters are always welcome. Will be at the Tucson Rifle Club during the week of 5-19 thru 5-25 depending on what date is available.

    Congrats on the elk tag, interested in hearing where you got drawn. Got some 160 NAB's sitting on the shelf if you want to give them a try. We need to send some lead down range sometime soon, hope to get the 1000yd range reserved later in May.
