I don’t foresee that in the near future

    12.7x114mm...

30mm wild cat is way over my head. Would be interesting to shorten the case and neck it down to 20 or so. If you could get a hold of some very slow take down powder. Maybe 60” barrel

It would probably be more cost effective to have rcc make the brass since they are already setup for that.

    PVA 212 Seneca

Well today I did a little testing with the 212’s and h1000. Went with the seating depth that I had thought were the best last go around. First 3 groups had me ready to call it a day. Then 4th was not half bad. Five shot confirmation group was bout 3/4” maybe a hair smaller. Didn’t remember...

Transonic Cone Theory of Bullet Motion

Perception isn’t always correct. Like frank said if you think it’s happening it’s happening. May not be reality but our mind believes it. They are either stable or not

Transonic Cone Theory of Bullet Motion

Bullets do not correct corse. They either stay on corse or don’t Personally I run a faster twist than required, in some instances much faster. This seems to have several benefits. More stable through transition and better trace, more splash, full bc potential. Jmo If the bullet of choice...

    PVA 212 Seneca

I’m about to give these another go in my 300wm. Got my dies sorted out and I think I was having a primer seating issue when I tried them the first time

    12.7x114mm...

I’m sure It can be done but how much money ya wanna spend. With that much capacity step one would be developing a new powder slower than what’s currently available. Probably only a several million bucks there.

    37XC Build

With the Warner’s I just used oal. With the SMk’s I had no trouble Monos are typically so uniform that oal works well Running the Seneca’s in my 300 wm I drilled my comparator a bit deeper. Looking forward to seeing your results

I don’t think they need to go to the extent Warner does but a little more protection would be nice.

This would be true if they were shipped in better packing. The ones I’ve used ranged .005” because the tips get beat up so bad. Shipping in a plastic bag that gets tossed around by usps like a hacky sack. They are very pointy and those tips are fragile. Mail your self a bag and see for...

    300 wsm - 212 or 241 seneca

This testing was done in 300 wm and 338/375 ruger and 243 win Test temps were 30f, 60f, and 96f 5 shot strings at each temp Shot at home so I could keep temps of ammo consistent. Measured with temp gun

From my personal testing. H4831 sc is .08fps per degree H1000 .21 FPS per degree H4350 .16 FPS per degree H4831 .36fps per degree

    300 wsm - 212 or 241 seneca

H4831sc is probably the least temp stable powder I’ve used. H1000 is my favorite tho

I have confirmed bc of the 205’s out to half mile. Tried at 1 mile but conditions were horrible for spotting and winds were all over the place! Hopefully soon I can get back out to 1 mile and use my GoPro to help spot At half mile my vertical dispersion was 3.5” for 8 rounds on steel.
