    6mm BRA

My ES/SDs were noticeably lower with H4895 than with Varget. Both shot great, but then again what doesn't shoot great in 6BRA. Velocity achieved with less powder and lower ES/SD makes H4895 the better choice for me. That and it saves the Varget for my x47s.

    Meopta MeoStar B1 Plus 15x56

Ive used mine for a couple of matches now, very happy with them. The glass is exceptional. My main use for them is match shooting so not a lot of low light conditions, however after comparing these to my 10 power binos I was going to use for hunting, the low light clarity of these is...

PRS Talk How does being in a “node” actually matter?

I dont have an answer but my question would be what happens if shooter B picks a random charge that happens to be right at the upper edge of a node (so it shoots fine and numbers appear to be good) and then he goes out and shoots a match where its 100+ degrees with no shade and his barrel never...

What's your pick for Kestrel Rangefinder pairing - Leica 2800 vs Sig Sauer 2400 BDX

A few guys have been reporting that the latest firmware update improved the Leica BT connectivity issues. As long as thats the case, I'd go with the Leica.

    It’s started....

I agree it does look that way. But given the location/position of the round in the air, and his grip, I'm thinking the image blur theory posted early makes more sense. Unless this guy has the world's fastest tap rack time and he managed to clear a malfunction and get back to a full shooting grip...

    It’s started....

As noted previously, pics 1 and 2 are out of order. Put in order.. the slap occurs, the decease immediately steps back, shooter advances. The draw begins before spray is raised, retaliatory response to the slap. In the image with the spent casing, the slide is returning to battery, not on its...

Best glass binos with LRF, but not fancy ballistics

I asked Meopta about putting a reticle in the 15s several months ago was all they would say was that they were going to release the low power reticle binos first (I was told summer 2020 but that was before covid) to see how the market reacted before thinking about doing 15s. They also said a...

Best glass binos with LRF, but not fancy ballistics

I run a similar setup to this with Meopta B1 Plus 15x56 and a sig range finder on an Abel table. Good setup especially while spotting for others as seeing impacts with 10s can be a pain sometimes on those longer targets. Id still like a pair of range finding binos for certain uses, and for that...

Bushnell Legend T Series 15-45x60 FFP

I think its awesome that you are looking for feedback to improve the product. For me, I think the build quality needs to improve, even if that results in a higher price. I bought one of these a couple years ago and ended up getting a pair in binoculars shortly after, so I didn't use mine for...

Rifle Scopes Current Best Value Optics Around $1k

If it were me, I'd probably add Vortex PST Gen 2 (New) and Vortex Razor Gen 1 (Used) to the list. IMO the SWFA 5-20s do still have good glass for their (used) price range, but thats about where it stops for me. I had two of them a couple years ago and while the glass is nice, better (More...

My first attemp at sponge camo.

I was going to do a multiple color scheme like a lot of the pictures posted but once I got the first layer done I liked it so much that I just stopped there. Not the most "camo" look ever, but I like the way it looks. Started with an FDE Bravo that I got for $200 so painting it wasn't a big deal...
