    I'd never have a long range bolt gun with an 18x max mag scope on it. #3 was the first one I eliminated. I have a Delta Stryker 4.5-30, and I spend most of my time at around 25x. Positional shooting it drops down, but I'd always want to be able to go to 25x.

    What is the ambient light during your testing? Try it outside at night and see if 1-5 are still too hard to see. Ultimately, you want to have a system where the lowest setting is visible but dim at night, and the highest setting is easily visible in daylight. Not many are designed that good...

    Different guns like different stuff. I pushed mine faster and it started throwing things all over the place. My groups at 100 went from .3-.5 to 1.5-2 inches. I don't think OP will be able to shoot 75s though.
