    Night Vision Autogated hum

    I have tinnitus and all but one of my NVDs is autogated, doesn't bother me at all. I barely notice it on my 27. That said, some autogated tubes whine louder than others, lighting conditions are a factor as well.

    Night Vision SIMRAD Mounting Issue

    This thread reminded me to break out my KN203 and remove the custom 1913 picatinny rail mount I had made for it to re-install the OEM mount for use on my Ruger Predator. Probably going to have to have some cocktails tonight and boresight it, oh darn :D Thanks, Wig!

    Night Vision SIMRAD Mounting Issue

    That is an older style SIMRAD mount, but should still work fine w/ US SIMRAD caps. I've owned KN203s w/ both and both attached fine. IIRC, it can be adjusted if the channel is too tight.

    Night Vision Sighting in my LWTS

    Maybe he meant he was measuring the POI shift? If so, I did the same thing when I got mine. Aside from the tiny vertical offset caused by the periscope design, the POI shift was negligible. Great scopes, I loved mine.
