I'm not sure if I like it or not, better send it to me so I can have a better look. I'll return it when all the paint is gone. Looks better than I could do.

Gunsmithing Remove Blockage from AR15 Gas Tube

Get a Torch and burn it out, they do get red hot on full auto and seem to work OK after. Never hurt mine and I got it red more than a few times.

Gunsmithing McRee 700 LA Mag problems

You need to trim the Mag release lever so the mag sits a little lower. I think it's in the directions that come with the stock. Just take the lever off and take about .010 off the top and try it, repeat till it works, .010 at a time.

Ideal caliber for 200-300 yard paper punching?

I shoot 2 6BRs, one open sight and the other scoped in IHMSA and have for the last 10 years. They are Rem XP-100 and they are so much fun to shoot, 8 twist and 107 smk.

338 RUM binding in 338 CIP magazine

Cut the stamped area out of the AI mag with a mill or some other cutting thing and you will be fine. 300 Win Mag CIP mags work best in 338 Ultra. That's what I did to my 338 Ultra

Maggie’s This is an AR Tacticool must have!

The bipod is made to clamp in the space under the front sight, had one in Nam just like it. Worked just fine, free ammo and all the full auto you could stand. The best of times.

300 RUM vs. Accuracy International Magazines

Get the AI 300 Win Mag mags. They are the ones I use it my 338 Ultra. You have to cut the shoulder stop rib away with a mill or a Dremel but they work great. The Rum case is about the same Dia. as the belt on the WM. The 338 LM has to big of a base and you need to cut the rib also. Just get the...

    Gunsmithing Broke extractor need advice

Any idea what made the extractor fail. My friends and I shoot RUMs and never had a bad one, I would put a new one in and go from there. All my rifles for the past 45 years have been Rem. and no extractor problems, might have got a bad one or not put in right. If you do change go with the M-16 style.
