    Best 308 155gr for hunting and all around if there is one

    Barnes 150 TTSX over H4895 loaded 0.050" off the lands. 1/4 MOA in my GAP 1/10" twist, Harbinger, 22" tube. Dropped many deer with it, ranging from 300lb mulies to Texas mini deer. Don't remember the charge weight off hand, probably 43-44 or so, check the barnes manual for starting loads.

    For everyday wear, danner pronghorn or similar. If you don't have wide feet, also recommend lowa. Get a custom Arch support for the flat feet...I have same issue. For hunting, Crispi all the way.     Accuracy question: TC compass or remington 700

    My son's compass in 308 shoots Barnes 150 ttsx at a half moa, handloads over h4895. I had tried some heavier bullets but they were typically around moa. It has more features than my 700s, so if given the choice, I'd buy another compass based on that experience and the ability to silence
