    M24-Rebuild anyone recieve one ?

Re: M24-Rebuild anyone recieve one ? Part of the issue is that the "production" of M24Rs is directly tied to the Army's contract with Remington for M2010s. Consider the friction of a govt contract, and the fiscal climate resulting in the guillotine to the DOD budget looming this fall, all...

    Enfields!

Re: Enfields! Here are some pics of a L39A1 that I just picked up. Did some load development yesterday, (155 Scenar, N140, 210M, prepped LC brass, 2670 fps at 90 degrees F) and you can see the two different groups at 200 yards. The better group on the left had a flyer due to a gust of...

    Teflon-S coating for precision rifle

Re: Teflon-S coating for precision rifle I'm a big fan of Black-T. It will coat all the surfaces except the rifling. It wears well, and reduces friction between moving parts. http://www.black-t.com/index.htm Hope this helps.

Re: 175gr Sierra HPBT "A lot of folks prefer the SMK" because of their excellent performance at magazine length (generally "shorter" than single loading depth that is determined by a tool like the stoney point. This tolerance to seating depth is due to their tangent ogive profile--they are...

    Movie Theater Magnificent Seven

Re: Magnificent Seven If you liked it THAT much, then you would enjoy "the seven samurai" (1954) which was the inspiration for the magnificient seven. Toshirô Mifune was awesome.

    Movie Theater Battleship

Re: Battleship Wife, buddy and I just saw it. Much better than expected. More of an homage to the board game, and the trailers were a tad misleading. The action and special effects were excellent. The bit part played by a real Soldier (Colonel Gregory D. Gadson)was a nice touch as well.

Re: Old walnut M-14 / M1a government stocks Fred bought out 1000's of M14 stocks when the USG got rid of them. Stacked to the ceiling in an old warehouse/converted farmhouse. I went there a number of years ago and picked out an awesome tigerstripe stock. He was a one-man shop, so looking...

    338 lapua without a brake?

Re: 338 lapua without a brake? Shot my TRG42 without a brake from the bench just to "try it out." Usually shoot 50+ 250 SMK at 3000 fps from the bench or prone with the brake without an issue. I will never shoot it again without a brake...
