    Thx. I’m very pleased with how it turned out. No immediate plans for short/med action DBM. Bolt knob is from PTG and put it on a handle I had turned to match the contour.

    Iota Kremlin stocks and Horizon Firearms

    Derrick at Horizon is a good guy, reliable, and professional. He did some barrel and bolt fluting for me a few years back. I don’t have one of his rifles but he is as good (if not better) builder than most. Ive handled the Iota stocks and they are nice — most recently at Dallas Safari Convention.

    Width wise the double stack CTR mags will be fine. Only limitation will be mag length for OAL. If you want to run the heavies and maximize OAL you will need to convert to long action magazines and bolt stop. We gotten this question a lot lately. Here are some additional options... Solution...

    Spurh one piece mount. Mountain Tactical 20 moa rail. Have miles of clearance bt objective and barrel. TT525 is best scope I’ve handled and like the magnification range for any distance.

    Couldn’t agree more. Fit and feed from the TRG magazines is vastly superior to AI. In fact that is what led us to design our long action DBM that uses the TRG42 magazine — essentially a long action CTR Bottom Metal system.
