What is your favorite U.S. sniper rifle?

Re: What is your favorite U.S. sniper rifle? I'll play. My favorite is the M-21. Why, I don't know, it just is. I do like the history, the feel, and the fact it is still in use today. Truth is I like them all.

Working up loads for my Tac-ops

Got some trigger time today with my Tac-ops infidel. For those of you who missed it the Test target Mike shot was .015 center to center at 100 yards. I shot a .020 group with this rifle myself. This was with Federal gold medal match. I also tried some black hills match. While it did well again...

    Advanced Marksmanship Clothing for shooting,

Re: Clothing for shooting, A quality shooting jacket will help is it fits and is worn properly. They have some adjustment. While they are not much use while shooting off a bench with front and rear bags, prone unsupported, off hand etc they help. add a good cuff sling and it helps more. Both...

    Snap cap suggestions?

Re: Snap cap suggestions? If you are going to make a single dummy round you don't need reloading equiptment. Use a taperd dowel and slid it in until it stops then a couple of light taps of a hammer to expand the mouth. easy on it here, in fact try and get a boattail bullet in first. Next tap...

full length resize vs neck size only

I used to shoot a local benchrest and reload for it. Back then the thing to do was neck size only. I am going to start relaoding for accuracy again and hear that people now think full length resize is more accurate. I know fads come and go, and that with time comes more knowledge, but just...

Re: Being stupidly sloppy with Kroil.... I can't claim to be an expert. Damage to the bedding could be the case. Pull your rifle out of the stock, clean things up and inspect it. After everything is dried out put it back toether with appropiate specs and test fire a few rounds. If everything...

Rifle Scopes price check on used leupold VX-L 4,5-14x65

It is like new condition. No scope caps. I found it locally. It has the original box and paperwork. The box has the 1907 to 2007 100 year on it. This is not the vx-3L or vx-7 but the original VX-L. Does that sound like a good price? It seems good to me but have not bought high end optics for...

Re: Remington v.s. Savage Have you had a chance to handle both? I suggest you do. One may fell better to you than the other. Everyone is diffrent and that extra money may be worth it to you depending on how it fits when you pull it up to you shoulder. Both are great rifles.
