    TBAC BIPOD

The threads are #10-32, for the BTC Pro 3/8" long 82 deg flat socket cap screws work best.

    Firearms SOLD

Up for sale is my RPR. It's got a seekins hand guard, timney 2 stage trigger, LRI bolt shroud and magpul grip. Kryptek camo pattern is Cerakote. The 6mm Creedmoor barrel is from Josh over at PVA cut to 22in with a TBAC CB brake on it. Round count on the barrel is just shy of 400. I also have the...

Suppressors Anyone else think TBAC should start doing this?

We looked into that a few years ago and decided against it. Our brakes are cut out of pre-hardened 17-4 and then coated with an extremely hard DLC. The shoulder/brake interface is critical for proper muzzle alignment and by cutting those holes you are introducing a sharp, hard edge that is...

    Suppressors Traveling with a suppressor.

Just flew from Denver to Las Vegas with a suppressor in the rifle case. TSA will probably open up the gun case and look inside. Keep a copy of your paperwork with the suppressor in the case and a backup copy with you and you'll be fine.

Suppressors Thunder Beast 338 Ultra on 6CM

I ran a 338 and a 6.5 Ultra 7 for a while on my 6 CM this summer. Accuracy was the same with both cans.

    PVA Tripod - 1st impressions

So I finally got to the range yesterday and the tripod setup is gtg. First target was an ipsc at 700. 3 shots, 3 hits. Then I moved to a 30" plate at 1k and missed my second shot cause of a bad wind hold. Last target was at 400 and I had no issues seeing impacts on the plate. After playing...

    PVA Tripod - 1st impressions

Josh at PVA sent me one of the pre-production samples of the comp-40. The first I did was extend the tripod all the way (this puts the pva ball head just over 66" above the ground) and put my full body weight on it. I knew the carbon legs would hold my weight (185 lbs), I wanted to test the...

    22 Ammo Testing Procedures

I would suggest getting your rifle lot tested. I had mine tested with eley edge and saw signifiant differences in group size among different lots. The one I am running consistently has 10 shot sd’s of around 8. Can’t remember the es off the top of my head. Grabbing a random lot off the self...

    TBAC Suppressor Cleaning

Sometimes it takes multiple cycles to get all of the carbon out. Keep repeating the process until its all clean inside. The issue with solid suppressors (not take apart) is the ultrasonic waves don't transmit threw the material very well. Simple green won't damage the suppressor, but it won't be...

    TBAC Suppressor Cleaning

223CB is the same stack as the 223P-2; it has some stainless baffles so don't use CLR in it. A foam ear plug works fine for plugging the exit end.

    TBAC Suppressor Cleaning

Unfortunately you are limited to using a carbon cleaner, it will just take longer and more cycles to get your suppressor cleaned back to bare metal.

    TBAC Suppressor Cleaning

In episode 30 Frank touched on suppressor cleaning a little. If you have a TBAC can we suggest you do like Frank said and weigh the can when it's new and clean it once you reach 1 oz over the original weight. If you allow to much carbon to build up in the suppressor those first layers become...

Suppressors Did TBAC ever try the 6.5-338 ultra?

We cut a .338 Ultra in both 6.5 and 30 cal. Both the 6.5 and .30 were within 1 dB of the 338 Ultra.
