    Training Courses

    CAT = combat application tourniquet. Its a Velcro tourniquet with a windlass to tension the tourniquet body. I think windlass is the word, it basically just twists to tighten once velcroed to the injured extremity.

    55gr vmax with imr4198 and 1:7 twist please help

    Hornady manual states starting at 17.4gr of IMR4198 with the 55gr VMAX, with a max load of 20.0gr at 2.25" COL. Test gun used was a rem700, I've got no experience with this specific powder, I hope this helps.

    M193 & M80 Accuracy ???

    I've shot a lot of M80 out of my 308 AR, typically I could expect about 3MOA with 10 shot groups. Occassionally I'd get a smaller group, down to about 1.5-2", but most often I'd see right around 3MOA. It shot decent enough for me to hit the 18" steel out to 600yds consistently though.
