    For ALOT less than 2k, you could get a Kowa 821 series(82mm, angled or straight, Non HD, with eyepiece of your choice 27x LER, or variable. If you went HD(Prominar series) you would be in the 2k range. If you are not a rabid birder, I dont think the HD is that important for spotting trace...

    Yeti coolers - who has 'em?

    I just got back from a week long camping trip. Weather not really hot, 70's daytime. Iced up my Yeti 105 on monday, the following monday had about 1/2 of the ice left. Pretty amazing. Since I was in a very remote area with no resupply of ice available, it was much appreciated.

    Seekins Billet SP 223 lower In Stock

    I ordered billet lower with Seekins logo, yesterday from Primary Arms. The billet non logo and the forged lowers were out of stock. Price was same as pre scare. From talking to Glen at TPRC in Feb, I am surprised they are available so soon(relatively speaking).

    CIP length AI mags in LA m700?

    I built a 300WM on a Surgeon XL and AICS stock, I use the CIP mags for the same reason you are interested in them. I am quite certain that the CIP length mags will NOT work with a Remmy long action. I dont think modifying the long action to accept them is feasible.

    need help building 308 ar

    Re: need help building 308 ar Three years ago I built a nice AR 10 style rifle on Iron Ridge Armory billet upper and lower. They make both Armalite and DPMS type sets. DPMS type takes Magpul mags. Used PMI fore end and PRS stock. Nice.

    168gr Matchking problem?????

    Re: 168gr Matchking problem????? Brian Litz explains this in his book. The instability issue with 168 SMK's is not a bc issue. The instability at trans sonic passage is caused by the particular shape of the boat tail. Other 168 bullets do not have this problem.
