    Thanks bud. Good info! Im gona mess around with this pen insert I have and just see what it does "stock". If need be I will shorten it and bore/cut the funnel end down some. I think the way it is its gona pack off or something to the big restriction on the end. May give it a whirl tonight...

    Man from what I have read the 10x or 12x SWFA scopes for $300 are HARD TO BEAT!! I have the upper end SWFA SS 5-20x50 and plan to outfit at least one if not two SPS Tacticals for the rest of the family and these will be my choice. Two scopes for $600....that are proven time and time again.

    2007-2013 Toyota Tacoma?? Looking for actual mileage one could expect.

    First batch Questions?

    Update, gun shot ALOT better once I quit jacking with the micrometer. Shot (4) 5 round groups. Still over 1" at 100 yards. Gona pick up a comparator at Cabelas this week and make up another batch. Im having a ball messing with this stuff. Gona bump up the powder a bit and see what happens...

    Im in the same boat. Fixin to purchase two SPS Tactical .223's for the girlfriend and her son I think and cant afford top dollar glass on both. I have the Midway Weaver on my 10/22 and it rocks. I have the SWFA SS 5-20 on my .308. Not sure which one would be best for the .223's......Midway...

    Yeah thats what I did....but the one I make a t 2.800 is fine. Then the next one is way over or under. The way you put it I thought there was some kinda measurement that should add up to make 2.800 on the seater die.
