    When I did my Tikka awhile back I made my tenon .980” in length. From the front of the action to the extractor on the bolt measured .988”, so there’s .008” of clearance.

    The parts supply thing is pure bullshit and an outright lie. I can order an ARC Nucleus or KRG Bravo right now and have it within roughly a week.     I would describe it as not very fine: in my opinion it’s quite easy to pick up even in heavy wooded areas.

    I’m just trying to understand. Literally every reputable smith out there can make a barrel that shoots. Why deal with PVA? If I knew customers were still waiting for barrel/barreled action orders from a year ago I’d feel like a piece of shit for placing a barrel order today and receiving it...

    I just sent a McMillan stock to LRI last week to have the barrel channel opened up to fit a Proof. McMillan said 12 weeks. LRI had it done in 4 days and it’s now on it’s way back. Why people use any place else is beyond me. I read the Patriot Valley thread and just laugh... Status updates...
