    Maybe it's because I don't shoot PRS regularly, but I have no idea why anyone has to have magnification in the 18-25x or so range. I don't remember the last time I shot above 12ish at less than 1350 yards. Every scope I've had is just ok at its max magnification...

    Oops, yes 4-14 on the SHV F1. If you range of the reticle, the MIL-R is fabulous in my opinion. When you settle in on something, drop the fine folks at Liberty Optics a line. They do it right for us here, and you may be surprised at some of the numbers they throw at you.

    OP... find your budget and see what fits. Why buy a Honda if you have the money set aside for a Ferrari? If I had it to do all over again, I would have sunk my money into the AXMC only and not monkeyed around with the astronomical amount of poor decisions I have waiting to go on the exchange...

    The Nightforce SHV 4-16 F1 is a solid option not to overlook. The glass is the same as the NXS if my internet lore is remembered correctly.
