    if the placement really bothers you, loosen the tension knob and spin the legs around. a little better for transport and storage i suppose

    a little play is good, helps with loading. The Magpul does have some flex and has been noted in reviews and will obviously increase the further the legs are deployed. there really isn't an issue with the placement in regards to the brake.

    6.5 Grendel with a PST G2 3-15 and offset RMR. In all honesty the time doesn’t really get much use. It’s not comfortable to get behind but it’s there “in case”. Built the rifle as a do all SPR/Patrol Rifle

    Ahh.. I see, assumed it was a Creed. You can see my post above, I've had accuracy issues with my Full Larue Rifle. It has function fine with the factory barrel but the accuracy is not where I thought it would be. I have another Larue upper and Lower that were purchased separate from each other...

    I think that’s one of the concerns with large frame AR builds, there’s no MILSPEC like with the AR 15. My small frame Larue uppers fit on my other lowers. I think if I was to buy a large frame gun it would be with a matched set. The Larue UU is still a great value, but I would start with a Larue...

    i'm then with this and the bushnell forge, the Bushnell is a bit more and doesn't have Illumination but does have locking turrets and a better reticle.

    This, the caliber really doesn't have much to do with it, especially if you're sticking with the short action. maybe a 7-08 but the Creedmoor is extremely versatile.

    No difference in accuracy, unless you want the shorter barrel to carry through the woods then stick with the 24”. You could always have it cut in the future
