    I hear about people shooting steel plates at 300, 400, or longer with their 22s. If you are shooting at these distances, what size plates? And what is your success rate? thanks

    Dewey .20 cal rods are 0.185. The 22 cal rods are .210.

    Took out my v22, serial number in the 2000s, never disappoints. Let a guy shoot it. 10 rounds @ 50 yards, group measured half inch. Not sure what more anyone can ask of a gun with untested ammo lot. Took it to 300 yards, after a few rounds and adjustments, i was hitting a 6" plate consistently...

    First range trip with the Vudoo

    My Tikka 223 varmint shoots great. Consistent 1.4" groups at 200 yards with multiple loads. One of my groups was 0.6", but the last round opened it up. Can't believe how accurate they are for the cost. My v22 is very impressive. Just can't get to shoot it....been so damn windy lately.

    I don't have a dog in the fight. Never owned a Ruger, but apparently they know how to make revolvers that are built like tanks and last several generations. I would buy one of those.     Ruger american long range

    Thought it was shooting great before you cleaned. Then it shot terrible. Between the time it shot well and the time it shot terrible, did you tighten the screws in addition to cleaning it? Amazing how picky this caliber can be.

    How did you clean it? Brush the bore and chamber? Factory barrels aren't as smooth inside so they take longer to lead and settle down. Is this a switch barrel set up? Maybe barrel is loose or something like that.

    i would order ammo from Graf and sons. Buy a bunch of different ammo, one low cost shipping no matter how many you buy. See if your barrel gets warm. i don't know if 22 barrels get noticeably warm. If they do, you might be getting mirage effects. My 22 has a pretty thick barrel and I haven't...

    Good call on the V22. You could dump thousands into the CZ and never realize your money back if you decided to sell it. I lost alot on mine.....
