    6.5 Creedmoor

Re: **6.5 Creedmoor Loads** I've noticed at matches and in talking with people that the Scenar is becoming more prevalent. Just an observation, do you disagree?

    6.5 Creedmoor

Re: **6.5 Creedmoor Loads** I did some tweaking to my 6.5 Creedmoor load after getting into a new lot of powder and wanting to mess with seating depth New load: 140 A-Max CCI BR2 42.4gr H4350 (velocity = 2827) Base to ogive - 2.190" COL - 2.805" no pressure signs groups less then 1/2 moa...

    6.5 Creedmoor

Re: **6.5 Creedmoor Loads** Today I did some checking and pulled apart 2 factory 6.5 Creedmoor 140gr cartridges and even though the box says there is 41.5 gr of H-4350, we measured 42.4 and 42.6 gr of powder. I'm pretty sure this matches what others have found when they pulled bullets as well.

Re: Loads for .260 I've used both primers and didn't see much of a change in velocity.

    Loads for .260 /.243/ 6.5x47/6.5 Creedmoor

Re: Loads for .260 I've read a few posts from people that opened a factory round and even though the box indicated 41.5 grns, they discovered it was more than 42 grns. I Think the 41.5 is a suggested starting point. The boxes I have say the velocity is 2820, but the Hornady website says...

    Loads for .260 /.243/ 6.5x47/6.5 Creedmoor

Re: Loads for .260 2750 fps huh, what velocity are people getting with the factory Creedmoor 140 ammo? I get 2830ish fps (Oehler) and so I dump in the powder until I match that velocity, thus my 42.6 grns of H4350. I've found the factory load to be the most accurate bullet/powder combination...

    6.5 Creedmoor

Re: **6.5 Creedmoor Loads** My 6.5 Creedmoor load is 42.6 grns of H4350, 140 Amax, COL is same as factory. The Amax comes out of the 26 inch barrel at 2835, same as factory. I used an Oehler to check the velocities. No signs of pressure, not even a flattened primer. Most of the time I can...

    6.5 Creedmoor

Re: **6.5 Creedmoor Loads** I shot the 140 Amax at 1060 yds today with my Creedmor. They worked great, the Amax is practically a VLD IMO.

    Need help with ballistic FTE

Re: Need help with ballistic FTE you can't change the inch drop steps but you could get close by changing the step by using a custom moa click value or use a small yard step. Or you could interpolate between the values above and below the desired value. Give me call if you want and I'll help...

    Loads for .260 /.243/ 6.5x47/6.5 Creedmoor

Re: Loads for .260 /.243/ 6.5x47/6.5 Creedmoor My current Creedmoor load is: 140 Amax 42.6 gr H4350 CCI BR2 2825 fps No sign of pressure what so ever. I'm excited to be able to shoot the Hornady BTHP 140's when I need to start chasing my throat and run out of mag length with the Amax.

Range Report Shooter Ballistics app now for iPhone

Re: Shooter Ballistics app now for iPhone The TMR Johan H is referring to does not have dots so it wouldn't really matter unless you are measuring with the reticle. Then you don't want to use Army with a Nightforce which is based upon the USMC figure. But then depending upon how the software...

    Precision Rifle Series

Re: Precision Rifle Series There is a lot of emotion tied to the PRS, and I think matches in general. Competition can bring out the best and worst in people. I mean no disrespect to you Frank, I’m grateful for all that you have done for the sport and industry, I just disagree that the PRS is...

    Precision Rifle Series
