    Re: savage 110 ba owners with a NF 56mm please chime! With the NF UL .885" rings on my 110 the 56mm sunshade kissed the barrel only during recoil, just enough to leave a very slight mark on the sun shade. However I was running a 45 MOA base. I moved to the 1.00" rings.

    Re: thinking of putting together a .243 The more over bore a cartridge is the more velocity you loose per inch of barrel. That is why pistol cartridges do so well in short barrels. Also slower powders will loose more velocity than a fast powder.

    Re: 115g dtac fps I have not ran DTACs or even a 243, but I do know that chronographs are sensitive to lighting conditions. If the results sound not quite right I would suspect t the chrono first.
