    I wish there was an upgrade available for the older units... I have a PVS4 that's really old, given to me from a friend of mine. It's been converted to run on 2 double A's, I think the company was stano or something like that. I don't think the tube is well though, can't see much past 80 yards...

    Well I contacted the custom shop guys about changing turret adjustments on the ultra, and they said its a no go. I also checked to see if the reticle could be updated to a TMR , also a no... So for this scope it's locked into mil reticle and Moa adjustments..

    I've had a 16X ultra on my 50 cal for years , it's held up well. I didn't know you could switch to mil/mil adjustments on it, I'm gonna have to look into that.

    Re: 6.8 AR 15 I have one, the upper was made by AR performance. With the 16 in. barrel and an acog TA55, it shot just as good out to 400 yds as my buddies rifle, which was an AR10 target. Only big issue the ammo is pricey unless you reload.

    Re: Best gun related deal you ever made. Had a co-worker of mine said he had a old rifle, never shot it and wanted to get rid of it. He brought it in, and it was a tula arsenal 1956 Russian SKS..Not a scratch on it. Best part...He sold it for $100.

    Re: best scope for SIG 516 ???? Money isnt an issue? Can I be your friend??? I'd suggest what I have on my duty gun..Aimpoint T1 on a Larue mount, with a 3x mag behind it on a flip mount. It will suit you from arms distance to 300.

    Re: Rem 700 BDL to 6mmBR question It can be done, I used to have one.Bought one built by Ken Johnson at K&P gun co. It was a short barrel, 18 in. and shot great. Wacked many a squirrel with 70 grn Nosler ballistic tips.
