    6.5 Creedmoor/Varget/ 140gr SMK

    Probably should start about 35 and work up. My 6.5 showed pressure very early with 130's. For what it's worth 38 gr of varget works well in the 260 with 140's but it's not a creedmoor.

    My load is the same 39.3 Varget, Lapua brass, Tula LRM primer, 123 amax at 2.780 OAL (.025 jump) shoots great out to 400 going to try it at 600-700 when I have a half day to make the trip.

    One powder for .25-06?

    For some reason RL22 works in most 25-06 with most bullets. My best load was 55.2 with a 115 gr berger or 44.3 H4831SC with a 115 gr berger but the RL22 load was the best.

    I shot an antelope with one at 376 last fall, worked very well. Had an exit wound about 1.5 inches and the dude dropped straight down. I would think the further you go the better they will be out to about 800 depending on altitude.

    my final varget load at 200 yards. It has done this or better with no shift in POI the last three times out. Only 2875 fps but I am pretty happy with it after struggling with H4350 for a long time.

    Bushing sizes for 260 Rem Lapua brass and 130 berger VLD'S??

    My loaded rounds measure .294 with lapua brass. My .291 bushing makes my brass .289-.290 for some reason. I either need to get a .292 bushing or start using the button. Unfortunately you will probably have to experiment with different sizes. I have a full length Forster die I had honed to .291...

    I need 40.5 to get that speed out of 25" barrel but I haven't had it out past 400 yards yet to verify with drops.

    I went through the exact same thing, switched to varget and problem solved. May or may not work for you but I am a believer.

    I have been using 123 and 130's with very good success. It is a fast powder so start low and work up.
