    That base does everything I need it to at a great price. It's liquid filled and has had no issues holding my rifle or spotting scope still.     Sorry it took a couple days to get the measurements, got a lot going on right now. Anyway, here's a couple pics that may help. By the way, I never fold the legs backwards for transporting. It'll fold up " tighter" by just collapsing the legs together and the added length doesn't bother me.

    I run a leveling base in mine with no issues. I'll fold mine up tonight and take some measurements to let you know what you can get away with. On a side note, I run mine with the leveling base on the center column as it's easier and quicker to adjust the height in the field. Obviously it's not...

    I've had a Desmond 432 for a couple of years now. I use it for night time coyote hunting with a 22" AR/ thermal setup. This model had a 55# rating and works great. I've been very happy with it for the money.
