Sidearms & Scatterguns M&P Pro sights that clear a can?

On the website they sell them individually, at least when I bought mine. They may give a set discount. Give them a call if you don't see them as a set on the website. I really like the way they do the tritium too. They are very small on the rear sight (just the vial with no ring) and the front...

Sidearms & Scatterguns M&P Pro sights that clear a can?

Dawson Precision adjustable or fixed rear sight (can get plain, fiber optic, or tritium) and front sights come up to .350 tall. Plenty to get over a can. Run Dawson's on all my M&Ps - love them.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Shield almost took my fingers today

S&W customer service is some of the best I have delt with. Leave it in the condition it is in. You already have pics, but the more you mess with it the harder it is for them to prove what caused it. Give them a call and they will send you a shipping label to send it in.

    Pinned brake question - Noveske

Be careful with shims. Most supressor manufacturers will void the warrantee if you don't have the muzzle device flush against the barrel thread shoulder or use their approved spacers.

    Pinned brake question - Noveske

Don't forget that you have about a half inch of overlap (threading) so you need a muzzle device that is a little over 2" long.

Rifle Scopes SFP the way to go FFP old tech.

I think combined FFP and SFP is the wave of the future. It allows the primary crosshairs to stay the same size, but allows the stadia lines to adjust for ranging, holdover, and windage hold. It takes some precise engineering to make it work so expect they will be spendy.

221 fireball in a short barrel

The difference was the position of the extractor. It threw the cases up into the bottom of the scope. They did it so the case would not ride through the bolt lug cut and have little to no ejector reach left to kick the case out. I ran one of my 221s with a standard 223 bolt and had no issues...

221 fireball in a short barrel

Ran one with a 16" and one with a 20" barrel. Loved them. Very handy and if you go with the lighter bullets - 40gn or less - you don't give up much for velocity. Reloader 7 worked great with the 40 gun bullets. IIRC I was getting 3200 fps with a 40gn vmax in the 20" gun...

    10/22 Custom Build, Help

I run a full Kidd setup - action, bolt, single stage trigger, and barrel. Put it together myself and bedded it into a Boyd's tacticool stock. Get the tang screw! It shoots fantastic - better than I can hold and runs 100%.

    Triple Aught Designs

Give them a call. Ask for Brett (owner) if he is in. Tell him your problem and he will take care of you. TAD is a huge supporter of the shooting community in CA as well as nationwide. I know a lot of guys like to complain about us in CA and keep saying to just move. Think of it this way...

    10/22 barrel options (target/accuracy)

Keep an eye on Kidd's site, they run a sale on barrels a few times a year. I have a 20" tapered barrel, a 16" bull, and a 16" lightweight (like a tac-sol). They all shoot better than I can hold the rifle.

Please be specific!!!! What cartridge are you talking about???

I would suspect that well over half of the members of this board have a long range 308. I would suspect almost all of those guys use the 175 SMK (the 308 version) for at least one of their loads for their 308. I would suspect less that 10 percent of board members run a 7mm 175 SMK. I think...

Gunsmithing Harbor Freight touch up gun using .6, or 1. nozzle to spray Ceracoat?

Been using a .6 for years with Cerakote. Takes a little longer to get full coverage but works better for getting inside edges and holes.

09 Nor Cal TBRC Results and AARs Pics and Video!

Re: 09 Nor Cal TBRC Results!!! AAR and pics to follow To say a HUGE THANKS to the crew and sponsors is still a massive understatement. The match ran unbelieveably smooth. There was very little down time especially considering over 50 guys shooting some stages one or two at a time. The...

Gunsmithing Barrels who do you think is the best for 6.5

Re: Barrels who do you think is the best for 6.5 All else being equal a slower twist will give a higher velocity as less energy is being used to spin the bullet. Lilja's shoot good but they are button rifled as opposed to cut. A 3 groove barrel has wider lands so they are supposed to be...

Tumbling loaded rounds to clean sizing lubricant

Re: Tumbling loaded rounds to clean sizing lubricant Clean the fired brass first before you size. Wipe the sizing lube off then clean the primer pockets. Imperial Die Wax makes it easy compared to oil based lubes and it helps to keep the brass from tarnishing. BTW: powder degradation from...
