    45 ACP

Re: 45 ACP If you have not tried it, pick up a lb of WST from Winchester. Ive gone over from Titegroup to WST with no issues. Easy shooting, fills the case much better than titegroup and burns nice and clean. W231 is pretty good but not a clean burning in my experience.

Power Pistol Powder for 45 ACP

Re: Power Pistol Powder for 45 ACP I was using 7.3gr of PP under a 230HP. Good accuracy but the PP seems to give a heavier recoil and muzzle flip. (In my opinion anyways). I still prefer Unique for .45acp although Ive found WST to work very well (like it better than Titegroup).

Gunsmithing Brux Barrels? Anyone use these before.

Re: Brux Barrels? Anyone use these before. Bought my first Brux this Feb for my Savage .308. Super accurate and very easy to clean. I plan on ordering two more this fall for my next projects.

Advanced Marksmanship Practical Tactical Practice - Avoiding Group Shots

Re: Practical Tactical Practice - Avoiding Group Shots My first attempt at this. When I got to the range I realized I forgot my rear bag so this was done off my bipod, prone with just me to steady it. It's certainly harder than it looks. 100 Yards, three rounds of five in about 15...

    357 sig problem

Re: 357 sig problem A big part of reloading .357SIG is your bullet choice. Your standard round nose does not have enough bullet for the case to grip. Some bullet makers like Montana Gold have specific 125gr's specifically for .357sig. Try another bullet before you give up.

WC-846 worth buying for 308 loads?

Re: WC-846 worth buying for 308 loads? Ive used it for my FAL's for general range blasting loads. Nothing precision. Lots seem to vary as the 16lbs I bought a few years ago is a good bit faster than the BLC-2 that they claim you should use as a reloading "guide".

Rifle Scopes ACOG TA33 or Leupold MK4 1.5-5???

Re: ACOG TA33 or Leupold MK4 1.5-5??? TA33 is whats on my LWRC that I carry for a patrol rifle. Granted its in a hard case in the trunk but its never lost zero. With the Larue mount it can be removed in seconds. It replaced an Eotech and I have NO regrets.

    Rifle Scopes Corrective Eye Surgery

Re: Corrective Eye Surgery I had the original RK (no laser) back in 1989. Today my left eye is still 20/20, my right has degraded a bit to 20/30. Best thing I ever did. Everyone that I know that has had the more recent lasik has had no problems with it.

Rifle Scopes Bushnell Trophy XLT or Nikon Prostaf

Re: Bushnell Trophy XLT or Nikon Prostaf Prostaff is a decent scope for the money. I've been using one for a few years as my "beater" scope that I flop around to various rifles and its always held zero.
