    If he's got time, RCBS can make him about any kind of dies you can think of. I don't know if I'd want to take homemade ammo to Africa to chase anything I'd need a .400 for. I trust my handloads, but I never have had to trust my life to them. Also, I don't know what his PH might have to say...

    Swap out Magpul CTR?

    Stock is all of the way out. Problem is that the rail on this rifle is pretty short, right at 5 inches. Scope (Swaro 3-18) can't go any further forward unless I get a rail extension that clamps on present rail. Any suggestions along that line?

    I just got a Rock River Predator Pursuit which had been fired a few times and customized some and came with a Magpul CTR stock. It is too short. I can't get proper eye relief on my scope and am just kind of scrunched up. Is this a carbine length tube? and will I have to put on a rifle length...

    Rifle Scopes Best Hunting Scope under $2000

    I vote for the Swaro Z6, 3 - 18 x 50, w/4Ai reticle. Clear and light. Doug at Cameraland (a hide sponsor) has dealer samples from time to time. Used to be under 2 grand, don't know about now.

    How do I remove my flash hider on my Knights Amament Mod 1?

    On my LMT, I put a wooden block (cut to size from a 2 X 4) in a vise, sticking up; put it in the mag well. Put a wrench of appropriate size on the flash hider and strike opposite end of wrench sharply with a hammer. I'm not advocating this, but it worked for me. YMMV...

    I don't have any Lapua brass, but isn't it a little tight (thicker), like Lake City. Wouldn't commercial brass have a little more volume and maybe a little less pressure?

    Anyone got a load approximating FGMM with a 69 gr. matchking? I've got a big box of bullets and a precision 20" 1 in 8 AR on the way. Sierra's data is kind of on the mild side sometimes. Thanks.

    I've got a BAR Safari II in 30-06 which is a MOA rifle with hunting loads. It had to have a trigger job before it would shoot. There's a gunsmith that does triggers on FNARs, which is the same trigger, I think, that will work on a BAR. You should be able to find him on Google. Good luck...

    Rifle Scopes Are my rings too high?

    My suggestion: Get you a mouse pad or two and raise your stock up until you get a new one with an adjustable cheek piece. Or spend $150 or so on new rings which may not be the best on your new stock. Also, consider where that 20 MOA base us going to put your scope. Your money, your choice.
