    Maybe I missed it, but action is that? Very nice chassis. Ted misses ship dates, but when it gets out, there's nothing better. And if there is, he catches up.

    I don't do thousands at a time, but a cookie sheet in a 200* convection oven for 20-25 minutes works.

    I was getting 2825 to 2840. That was rounds 50 to 100 on a new barrel. 26 inch, heavy varmit, 1/8 twist Schnider, about 250 feet DA. I hope to duplicate that then work on seating depth. The rifle can shoot .25 moa, but probably not with me behind it.

    Thanks. I will use that as a starting point for load development. I'm going to load 50 moving up from 40 gr. of H4350 in .3 gr steps to find the velocity the factory gave me, then start adjusting jump. This gives me a starting point.     Interesting, think I need one. A couple of questions, does it connect to 5700 Kestral with link, not the elite? I can upgrade the 5700, but that puts it into the Leica range. Is there a vendor here on the hide that carries this? I like to support people who support us.

    Going to see my smith this week and get a 6GT barrel on order. I know it will be a 26 inch heavy varmint, but I'm uncertain about the twist. What are the advantages/disadvantages between a 7 and a 7.5 twist? Or is it enough to worry about?

    ARC mags with ARC action

    I have an Archimedes in a MDT ACC, using MDT 12 round mags. I opened up the front of the feed lips so the round pops up sooner and has a straight shot into the chamber. It will be next week before I can try it out, but it it works fine with dummy rounds in the shop. If the Arc mags work better...
