Who would you use to build the rifle and what kind? Or what rifle would we use to withstand that type of abuse and keep working? If you aren't specifically looking for a custom then go AIAW.
The G2DMR is awesome. It works similar to that of a Horus and other similar reticles. You have to look up actual reticle values but its nice and clean.
That is actually a good choice for a rifle. Its tough to get use to shooting the rifle accurately with a magnum caliber as your first but hopefully you can get use to it quick with the muzzle brake. Like I have said many times on this site I think the RAD brake from R&D precisions is great. You...
Anyone have any experience with Big Horn's TL2 action? I know that their older actions needed some mill work on chassis to fit but I was wondering if these newer ones still needed the work. I read on their website that they are able to drop into most stocks. I was kind of wondering if they...
I just wanted to say that I tried their ammo out and it's fantastic. The ammo is very accurate and consistent. Just waiting for my PM to get answered before I send some brass in.
FGMM 175 grain are what I usually use. I haven't used Black Hills before but heard good things about it. Currently, I really like the Southwest Ammunition (SW118LR).
I love the RAD brake. I'm not sure how it is on a .300 but it makes my .308 feel like nothing. Again not sure on the .300 but the .308 is a non issue with the back blast and noise, It doesn't increase by much at all. The port angles up slightly.
Well for a stock check the Bell & Carlson stocks for example the tactical medalist style 5 on stockystock.com, its adjustable or the B&C m40 stock. if you don't want adjustable you can try to find a HS Precision pull off stock in the for sale section, they go for like $200. BTW the Varmint...
Personally I really like the southwest ammo but it does take some time to get it. Got some SW118LR from the group buy and it shoots great!! I have a 700pss cut to 22 inch. I think it shoots better than the FGMM but if you are looking off the shelf type stuff FGMM 175 is the way to go.
