    Also, as I understand it from ejg, it's a single shot action, so you'd probably have some machining to do on the action as well. Still, should make for an interesting project.

    Well, like I said, at least the 2nd one is about the same price as an AE, while some custom work has been done to it. So they must have used a barreled action. They are an official AI dealer though, so they may have a bit more pull than just any consumer.

    Ah yes, sporting services is offering these to the F-Class community in the UK. Just as expensive as the regular AE though, and it's a single shot. It is a .284 Win though, so plenty more power than the regular .308 bases cartridges.

    Are you holding or dialing? If dialing, did you verify your clicks at a single range? If you checked it, you need to calibrate your ballistic solver to your real-world data.

    Well, I can't comment on the HD, but for only 10x, I wouldn't bother. I feel the higher quality of glass starts making sense with higher power optics. Now if it was the 20x or 16x, I'd consider it. Though even then, I'd probably save up more for a variable power scope.

    Can't comment on the .338, but for 308 and 223 they use the SMK bullets, and have pretty good brass.
