    Vortex not tracking true no surprise there. Set up a target at 100 with lines every inch and dial your scope just to see what it's actually adjusting. My 200 yard dope with 308 is 1.75 moa so yours is about double.

    The barrel is in really rough condition rusted and barely any rifling. I didn't include that information in the original post. The rifle basically sits there and collects dust so I figured I would try and so something to get some use out of it.

    Hornady 4dof windage question

    Sorry Pell I think you just don't understand what I'm saying. The exact same wind mph from the left is given a correction of 1moa more than if the exact same wind is coming from the exact opposite angle from the right. That's what doesn't make sense to me, not wind values based on direction.
