    I would consider Turbo K. Most tests I've seen show sound reduction at the muzzle is lower on the T2, but often not that much difference at the ear. The AR15 is loud anyway, and I would as a minimum wear plugs anyway. To me the goal is more to take the edge off.

    sorry, missed that about the USPSA rulebook. I shoot IPSC and I didnt look at the appendix. A difference under IPSC if you use a bullet under 120gr and it still meets Major, it is declared unsafe and must be withdrawn.
