    Same issues as others here—added XTN folding stock in FDE and tried to check out by 3:01 PST. Couldn’t get into checkout repeatedly and then when I did it stated there was nothing. Such a highly anticipated sale, yet so frustrating.

    @demolitionman : That does look like a decent amount of travel. To clarify—you’re running just the leveling base that came with the Innnorel tripod, or is that the midwestoffroad base? How quick and solid is it to get in position and lock everything down tight for a stable shot?

    Some barrels will shoot great with more variety of bullets than others. Others can be finicky (although typically less common for .308) In my factory Savage .308 barrel, I just couldn’t get 190 SMK , 190 CC, 185 Juggernaut, or 175 SMK to shoot. Then tried 178ELD-X and holy smokes if it doesn’t...

    Off barrel magneto mount

    Interesting. I have the Wiser mount and have over 3k rounds on it—over 2k with 6.5 PRC. I actually don’t use the set screws. I find there to be sufficient friction in the mounting “bushing” that it doesn’t slide back under recoil. I’m wondering if you’d have better luck without cranking it...

    Thanks. I’ve only used a ball head setup and never used a leveling base. How does one “lock up” the position for stability, or do you keep it somewhat loose to pivot/track and then lean in to create a solid firing position?

    This is exactly what I do to use the Lee Collet die for made for 6.5 Creed in order to neck size 6.5 PRC. Just make sure the washer allows for enough of the neck to get sized yet not too little thickness that you start to buckle shoulders.

    To clarify—not required, but even on the RT90, does the plate make for a more solid end-result vs. without it? (Less wobble, play, etc—and therefore more stable sight picture?)

    Thanks! I had only seen picture of it flat, so didn’t realize it was a ball head, but with a better locking mechanism. Is the Midwestoffroad adaptor an interface required for mating the Anvil to certain tripods? (I’m assuming to fill the void where the bowl would normally sit)

    Guilty as charged for being in a cave with my ball head, and very interested in learning more about the newer solutions. So does the Anvil enable quick vertical adjustments as well—up to how much angle? From looking at pictures it appears to offer a flat pan-type movement...

    Wondering this myself. A ball head can be a bit finicky to lock down “just right”. Is a plate/Anvil 30 quicker to get on target and lock down?
