    Rifle Scopes Custom turrets?

Re: Custom turrets? Thanks for the advice, it seemed like a good idea to be able to make adjustments more quickly. But I see what you are saying that even if your ballistic info remains the same then the enviromental variables alone would negate any advantage.

    New Winchester 20

Has anyone shot the new Model 70? Specifically how is the new trigger system. I have an old Model 70 Laredo LRH with a great trigger and I'm wondering how much of an improvement this new system is.

Absolute lightest Tan or Coyote Brown Boots

Re: Absolute lightest Tan or Coyote Brown Boots Hands down the nike SFB boots, they basically took the lightest pair of running shoes they make and added some ankle support. Ive worn a lot of the after market boots and nothing compares to hot light the nikes are.

Gunsmithing Broken safety on model 70

I have a Winchester Model 70 Laredo LRH, today I discovered that the safety would not engage so that I could disassemble the bolt for cleaning. Now it has been very tough to engage before so I thought a little leverage might help it this time...turns out it was just as dumb an idea as it sounds...

What do you guys think of this?

Re: What do you guys think of this? I dont disagree with that, he wasnt exactly the most scientific historian. However there are a lot of stories (mostly PD experiences) that show that the use of silhouettes and shoot/no shoot targets do indeed help.

What do you guys think of this?

Re: What do you guys think of this? Not to start an argument, but the military did indeed move to silhouettes to desensitize soldiers. Studies from WWII showed that only a small percentage of soldiers directly and intentionally aimed at the enemy, most sprayed and prayed. By vietnam with the...
