    If you keep it refrigerated it lasts a long time. I bedded a rifle a month ago with some devcon I first bought and opened probably about 9 years ago. I keep it in the refrigerator and use some once every year or so.

    That's more of a result of your barrel being clean and possibly having solvent residue inside than of the barrel temperature.

    Not sure. I haven't fooled with it enough to see how much clearance would be needed, or how much thinner the t-nuts could be. If it only needed a couple thousandths, might be worth trying.
