    Re: 7mm RUM vs 7mm RM ballistics so, besides energy at impact the two rounds would be ballistically the same out to about 400 yds lets say and the 7 RM would start to drop off exponentially at some distance beyond? That makes pretty good sense...thanks.

    my buddy and i were shooting to check our ballistic drop at 200, 300, and 400 yards last week. The points of impact were within an inch of each other each time as we aimed at the bull each time. I load both of our rounds, he shoots 89gr of rl25 (rum), i shoot 70gr rl25 (rm) both recipies...

    Here's the deal...this is a used Model 70 300 Win Mag i picked up pretty cheap...everything looks good but this... These lines appear only on the bottom half of the bolt and in the receiver...im guessing a result of machining??? what is it and what is the fix? Receiver

    Im about to attempt to bed a ruger M77 MKII.... i ordered the pillars from brownells, the front lug is already cut to fit.... has anyone done this...the problem is that the front pillar is on an angle. The only thing i can figure is set the pillar in place then the action...then move the pillar...
