PRS Talk Tripod Setup for PRS

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I truly appreciate it. I suppose you all are right that I may be jumping the gun as far as a tripod goes. The match will be the perfect venue to see if I actually need to spend the money now, or later. I definitely like the ARCA rail setup and the ability...

PRS Talk Tripod Setup for PRS

Hello everyone. I am in the market for a new all around tripod, as well as a tripod setup for PRS (head, tripod and mounting system for rifle). I have been doing some research, but there are just so many options. I was hoping some of you guys that shoot PRS and have setups could tell me 1)...

Shooting rests, rifle bag, field bag, rear bag, sniper bean bag, sniper sock, stock sock, squeeze bag.

I just picked up the Armageddon Gear X-wing rear bag. I like it so far. Has attachment point options and comes with a velcro strap.

    Lets be honest..

It's all about what you want, and can afford. I agree with the above posts about comparing high end quality products to middle of the road quality products. Personally I would love to have a brand new S&B, but I simply can't afford it. That's why I have a PST on my rifle. Does it compare to the...

Rifle Scopes Chance to Try out Vortex Warranty

Best warranty in the business. They will definitely take care of you. I have had to use the warranty on a set of binos and they were truly a "no questions asked" type of company.

How did I do? New stick...

I guess I missed the part on this forum where it says what you can and can't call your rifle. With all due respect, I'll call my rifle whatever the hell I want. If it offends you, then don't read it.

How did I do? New stick...

Thanks for the replies everyone. I will definitely be looking into a new stock. I have some money saved up for this little project so I should be ok. And yes, my plan is to be much more accurate than a "stick"

How did I do? New stick...

I will definitely be getting lower rings when I get the new glass. That thing is WAY too high. I am thinking a Vortex Viper PST and a new stock to get me going. I think I should be able to do those two upgrades for under 2 grand.

How did I do? New stick...

Found this on the local classifieds last night and picked it up today for $550. Remington 700 SPS Tactical. I'm sure you all know it's a 308. PO says it has approximately 100 rounds down the tube. The scope is a Millet 6-25x56 with MOA turrets. I'm not too sure on the glass. I'm pretty...
