OTTO NoizeBarrier earpro same as new Etymotic Elites....

Quick update for any inquiring minds... Just sent in my set for replacement (purchased March, 2019). The charging port on one side wouldn't charge the earbud -- it was visible that the contacts weren't protruding enough from the case. No overt damage/trauma to the case so not quite sure what...

OTTO NoizeBarrier earpro same as new Etymotic Elites....

Came here to post this -- Beat me to it! One thing to add, the 15% off coupon has some exclusions for various categories -- I was having trouble with some of the filler items (eye glass cleaning kit), though managed to get it to work with the Sealing & Repair Tape kit. And again, the coupon is...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Flinch appears over time?

$20 says it's not a flinch but fatigue and you're giving up on the grip (i.e. grip it harder).

Sidearms & Scatterguns Who is a recommended HK gunsmith?

Have played around with various trigger setups on my HKs... Spend the $15 or whatever on the pliers and do it yourself. (Don't absolutely need the pliers either, just makes it much easier). FWIW, my P30L has been sitting in my safe ever since I picked up my VP9. Some like the LEM/Light-LEM...

Vortex Razor, Athlon Cronus or Leupold GR spotting scope?

If you're not opposed to refurbs, check out A&A Optics. A while back he was running a sale and I ended up with the Razor HD 20-60x85 w/ both ranging eyepieces (MOA and MRAD) for $965 shipped. Still has their full warranty and I just couldn't pass it up for that price.

Training Courses Michigan: marksmanship training center or other nearby

Took LR2 last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the class. First precision rifle class I've taken, but have taken various pistol/rifle/carbine courses over the years, so take that for what it's worth. Overall pace was well thought out, building slowly at the beginning (days 1-2), then ramping up...

Training Courses Michigan: marksmanship training center or other nearby

If you're planning on taking LR2 at all, I'd say just go for the annual membership -- only a $25 difference if you do LR1 + LR2 as a non-member, or buy the membership and get LR2 at a discount (they throw in LR1 or one of the other seminar classes for free)... not to mention you get full access...

Training Courses Michigan: marksmanship training center or other nearby

Will be attending LR2 this weekend and can provide feedback afterward (shoot me a PM in case I forget to reply here). Took LR1 a few months back and was happy with it -- certainly built as an intro level course (classroom only, no live-fire), much of which can be learned elsewhere (Kleckner's...

Anyone have any experience with this tripod.

FWIW, while the website says 8-week leadtime on the Nightstalker, I had mine within 2 weeks on a recent order. (Did order it with the PIG saddle so I don't know if they give preference to combo orders or not)

KRG Ambi Sling Mount install on Bravo?

Thanks for the info. Glad to know I'm not that crazy for asking the question. Like you mentioned, a quick note, even just on the webpage would be nice to let the end user know what to expect.

KRG Ambi Sling Mount install on Bravo?

Might be a stupid question but how many bolts should be used to attach the fore end on the Bravo chassis? Went to install the KRG Ambi Sling Mount and unless I'm doing something wrong, it doesn't seem possible to use the two front bolts anymore. Is this normal? Debating on drilling holes in...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Looking for bedside home defense pistol...of these 3...

... so you're relying on a safety to prevent an ND, yet don't think that it could also be a hindrance when a shot is actually needed? No need for a .45 with today's 9mm defense load offerings (Federal HSTs or Speer Gold Dots). My vote is to convert your 19 back to a stock trigger and put...

    Flash light help

Good question and honestly can't comment much beyond what I've read on the interwebs. Word seems to be that lithium primaries do better than rechargeables in extreme cold... So if you're planning on leaving one in the truck the majority of the time I'd probably go 2x123, however with on-body...

    Flash light help

Have been carrying a PD35 almost daily for a couple years now and have been happy. If it was for duty carry I'd probably opt for Surefire, but for EDC civilian uses any of them work just fine. Would recommend picking up a rechargeable 18650 battery as you'll burn through 123's rather quickly...

6px pro is 320 lumens correct? PD35 = 960 lumens HL-X = 1000 lumens EDCL2-T = 1200 lumens Don't have experience with the 6px pro to do a side by side comparison, and they'll all be subjectively different from each other (throw vs spill), but yes, any of them should be a significant and...
