    Suggest a load...

I load 168 Bergers both in classic and VLD to mag lenth with 43.4 of RE15 and its a little on the slow side at 2475fps but will shoots well under 1/2MOA at 100 yards and I have had good results on hogs out to 425 yards.

    Hornady 150 gr sp

I shoot feral hogs with this on a regular basis. It has been good for DRT out to 250 yards on 75 to 150# hogs. FWIW I have used the 175 SMK's on hogs and killed them out to 425 yards with quick one shot kills.

44 grains of IMR4064 win brass and cci primers with this bullet at 2.81 COL shoots sub MOA at 100 yards out of both my Armalite AR10 and Bushmaster ORC.

    DPMS Sportical 308 Killing Brass

The AR's are hard on brass. I shoot an Armalite AR-10 and the chambers tend to be a little larger than a bolt gun. A also shoot a .308 bolt gun and have to segragate brass. Lake City brass tends to hold up better in my AR and I tend to shoot lighter loads in the AR. Most reloading guides...

    Is magazine length screwing me?

29aholic;3156305]How are the 155's with jump? I don't have any expeience with the 155's. I shoot both an Armalite AR10T and a Rem 700 AAC-SD in .308. My 700 will shoot 1/2MOA or better with Lapua brass and 43.1 or 44.3 of RL15, 175 SMK and FGMM primers at 2.81 and still fits in the mag...

    Is magazine length screwing me?

I would add that the 175SMK is a very jump tolerant bullet.

excessive case stretch after one firing with sticking cases

+1 on the small base dies. I have the same issue with brass fired in my AR-10 when attempting to chamber it my R700. A small base die solves the issue.

Sleuthing the Federal Gold Medal match load... Mk 316 Mod 0?

The full article in American Rifleman was a good write up if you can get your hands on a copy. I have been working with this and RE15 for loads in my REM 700 AAC-SD. The gun is just starting to get broken in but the results have been promising so far. I intend to do some testing later this...

    Zeroing with two different loads......

Not to say you are wrong, just working harder than you need to. If you have a quality scope with repeatable adjustments High Binder's ideas works, I have done this with .308 loads for years. I also have a 55 grain load for .223 that shoots Hornady FMJ, SP, and Vmax at least MOA out of both of...

Sleuthing the Federal Gold Medal match load... Mk 316 Mod 0?

I have not done any comparisons yet, but the MK316 mod is supposed to use IMR 4064 because of the temp sensitivity of RE15 so it should give more consistent results. During some of Black Hills development testing I believe they only saw a 20FPS change in velocity over the entire span of temps...

    Quick question about brass

I would size a few first and see how they chamber. Even after I size some of my AR-10 brass they are very snug in my R700 .308. I have not tried a small base die to see if it makes a difference, just sort brass to each rifle. The AR's seem are hard on the brass.

    powder suggestions and findings…rem 700 aac-sd 20" aics 1.5 stock

I have a newer AAC-SD, about 125 rds through the gun now. 41.7 grns of IMR4064 (MK316 MOD CLONE), LC LR brass shoots consistant 5 shot groups under and inch. Its not the fastest load but most groups are under .6". RE 15 43-44.4 grains and Lapua Brass are consistant groups under .5" (these are...
