    338 Edge rifle from 300 RUM action

    Does anyone know if any 300 RUM action will work for a future 338 Edge rifle? For example, if I buy a SAKO or Winchester in 300 RUM, and rebarrel it, would it work for a 338 Edge? This seems like a viable option compared to a Lapua. Thanks.

    300 RUM build maybe?

    Before I build this calibre I thought I would get some feedback from a good group of fellow shooters. Can anyone tell me some pros & cons. Is it fairly accurate? It will be used for long range shooting and hunting from 300 yds to 1000.Bullet weights from 210-250grs.
