    Triggers that fit AICS

    Someone told me that only the old style trigger from the Remington 700 models were the only triggers that DOES NOT need modification when fitting it into an AICS stock. I have also read that the AICS stock fits most custom triggers like Timney triggers without modification. Which one is true?

    AICS cheek piece thumb screws

    Mine always come loose. I now use a rag and a pipe wrench to tighten them down before a match so that I dont end up losing a cheek piece on the range.     Remington 700 .223 in an AICS?

    I know that the .223 short action will fit into the AICS chassis, but is there any way to modify the mags (like bending the feed lips) so that the magazines can be used with this chassis? I have tweeked the lips of the .300 win mag so that it will feed a 6.5x55SE, but I don't see this working...
